Hello all! I’ve been non-productive in my writing for quite some time. Quite frankly, I’ve been AWOL when it comes to writing. I won’t get into all the whys, wherefores and what’s its as to why I haven’t written in so long, but for the time being, I am reaching out to ask that you all pray for me as I return to my keyboard to do a little bit more than simply re-posting cute Dachshund pictures and videos, or other people’s articles.
Even now, I am trying to get used to formatting this blog post. However, I am convicted that I have been sitting on the sidelines too long, not contributing to any meaningful dialogue within the body of Christ.
To be completely honest, after years of study, praying and knocking on every door for ministry opportunities, I became discouraged that the doors just were not opening.
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
1 Corinthians 1:18
I feel that God wants me to write articles to uplift and strengthen the body of Christ, but I also feel that He is directing me to write about the simple gospel message in layman’s terms.

There are many who are simply confused by all of the four dollar theological terms when what they need to start with is an overview of what the context of the Bible as a whole truly is. God revealed His word in a particular order to gradually reveal His will and our condition so that we would see that we have need for a Savior. I pray that God will use me to clear up some of the confusion caused by many of the debates online.
Should I discuss the “deep theological terms?” Yes, within certain articles. However, the articles I feel convicted to write are more for evangelizing the lost. Most of the systematic theological terms will simply go in one ear and out of the other until they are born again. So little of the online Christian presence is presented without debate and high brow jargon which simply confuses and frustrates the hearer.
Although I am not presenting any of those writings tonight, I am asking all of my brothers and sisters in Christ to please say a prayer for me as I launch out one more time. I may not use your choice of words, or your particular explanation about a topic, but, as always, I will present the truth of God’s word as I listen for his direction in what to say.
It is my belief that some of these writings will be compiled into a booklet as a brief overview of the Bible as a whole, with an explanation of the gospel and an invitation for the reader to put their faith in Christ for salvation.
God bless you.
