Acts 17 – The Berean Call

… they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.   Acts 17:11

The Lord has called us to a life of holiness before Him and to live our life in humility.  We are to love and respect our spouses and raise up our children to know, love and respect the Lord our God.  In studying God’s Word, we will draw closer to Him and receive the power for Jesus Christ to live his life through us.  It is the purpose of the Acts 17 class to equip God’s children to be the spouse and parent God has called them to be.  In so doing, we will also be equipped for the work of ministry and for edifying the body of Christ so that we will not be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine, but will be able to cast down the arguments of the enemy, bringing them into subjection, even unto the obedience of Christ.
